Another TEEN Concert
Justin Lo Live in Genting 2010 on 14 Aug 2010 night made me a proud fan of Jak Teen.
Clad in white shirt, Jak Teen proceeded with Kong, and an upbeat track, Kuit Sei Ye Sai Jou (Battle Against the Rich Kid) with a group of dancers.
With his black-framed guitar, Jak Teen invited a female fan on stage for the track, Erica. The lucky fan definitely got (not all but) many female fans green with envy, as they could only watched from their seats while she walked hand-in-hand and sharing the head-microphone with Jak Teen.
But that did not stop us from enjoying the concert. Still with his guitar, he belted out a few more slow tracks; Morning After, B.O.K. and Leo Ku’s Dai Hung.
The New York born, who moved to Hong Kong at the age of two, carried on with Ngo Yau Kam Yat (I Have Today) before bringing in his guest artist, Rubberband.
Jak Teen came back on stage with a red cap, black t-shirt and a checked-shirt, to sing a few more tracks from his albums; Stuck On You, Mou Han Dai (Infinity), and Ching Wing Lok (Love Woes), before paying tribute to Michael Jackson by performing She’s Out of My Life, Rock With You and Black or White.
Jak Teen then passed the stage to the band leader to introduce the band members. OH MEE GOD!! That was a freaking hilarious introduction. Watch the following video, you cannot miss this!

Part 2
The playful and cheeky Jak Teen kept the fans on their feet with another two upbeat tracks; Mei Shu (Undefeated), and Volar, accompanied by the dancers. He then asked the audience whether they wanted to see more sexy dance moves. How can we say no?!!
As soon as Wonder Girls’ Nobody was played, we cheered loudly, knowing that we would be able to see more. The party mood continued with Jak Teen and the dancers dancing to Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry. Jak Teen has definitely transformed from a quiet and shy performer when I first saw him in his 2006 concert, to an outspoken, sporting and mischievous entertainer.

His latest single Oi Dek Chap Guan (The Habit of Love) was the next song, followed by Ching Gor (Love Song) before he waved goodbye and said ‘Thank you, love you’ to the audience.
Jak Teen told the audience that he always leaves Malaysia with a heavy heart due to the warm fans. I am sure the fans also do not want to see him leave so soon.
“Encore” was chanted and he appeared on stage again with a black cap, checked-shirt and black jacket, rendering Ngo Pat Si Hou Yan (I’m Not a Nice Guy). The sentimental Jak Teen could not control his tears when he sang Sam Sap Yat (30 Days), where fans sang along and supported him by saying “Don’t cry”.
Jak Teen disappeared from the stage again after the first encore session. Some of the audience already left their seats. But there were some who are still hopeful.
With Black Eyed Peas’s I Got A Feeling being played by the live band, Jak Teen returned on stage and asked everyone to stand up. Dancers joined him on stage and the ‘real’ party begun.
For the very last song, Meng Ngaang (Hard Life), he said he would not be singing it, instead requested the fans to sing. True enough, the fans did not let him down. It was definitely another night to be remembered by the Teen fans, especially when he took off and threw his trademark cap, showing the fans his new hairstyle before leaving the stage for the night.
His songs are usually inspired by his own experiences. He has a total of five studio albums; Justin (2005), No Protection (2006), JTV (2007), Justin – Ah Tin (2008) and I Never Changed Love Addition (2010). Lo also acted in several movie such as Love @ First Note (2006), Love Connected (2009) and 72 Tenants of Prosperity (2010).
4th concert perhaps?!
